• Development of the Site History
• Evaluation of Potential Environmental Impacts to Subject Property by
review of regulatory agency information for spills, active and inactive
landfills, leaking underground storage tanks and hazardous waste
facilities on or about the subject property.
• Evaluation of Local Geologic and Hydrogeologic Conditions
• Physical Inspection of the Subject Property and adjacent properties for
evidence of hazardous waste disposal, contamination and filling or
dumping activity.
• Preparation of a Final Report

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments are conducted in compliance with
the ASTM 1527-05 standards including an all appropriate inquiry of past land
use and ownership. The purpose of the assessment is to examine the
subject site and evaluate its historical land use to identify recognized
environmental conditions.
Recognized environmental conditions, as defined by ASTM in its E1527 - 05
Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments, include the
presence or likely presence of hazardous substances or petroleum
products on a property that indicate an existing release, a past release, or a
material threat of a release. The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
does not include any sampling for asbestos containing building materials,
lead based paint or radon within any structures.
